Carson Barton joins the professional ranks in the National Lacrosse League with the Calgary Roughnecks after a career where he was one of the most prolific scorers in college lacrosse history.  Nearly unprecedented, Barton was a 4x First Team All-American at MCLA Division 1 National Champion Grand Canyon University.  Following up a dominant Jr. A box lacrosse career with the Edmonton Eclipse organization, he debuted this summer in the Western Lacrosse Association (Senior-A level Canadian box) with the Coquitlam Adanacs scoring 29 points in 18 games.  His success in the WLA led to him being selected in the NLL Entry Draft by Calgary.

Coach Barton is of the highest character and has a degree in Education complimented by student-teaching in the Phoenix area.  He will continue his professional box lacrosse career while providing outstanding leadership and inspiration to youth and high school players in Southern California.  He enthusiastically joins Valencia HS Lacrosse and Top Tech Lax full-time relocating to the Santa Clarita Valley.
