Mark Bell has been as assistant coach with Valencia HS (CA) since the Spring of 2015.  A two-time captain at Florida Gulf Coast University, he continues his leadership these days as a successful technician and mentor.  Coach Bell advanced to playing college lacrosse after success at Northern Burlington HS in New Jersey.  He set FGCU’s single-season save percentage record in 2012 while leading the nation in the category (67.9%) and also holds the school’s mark for saves in a game (21).  Coach Bell has a wide spectrum of knowledge of lacrosse skill sets, having played midfield at the HS level prior to stepping into goalkeeping and defender roles in college.
